Homemade Maple Syrup

In addition to roofing, the Overholt Family operates a Maple Syrup business in the winter when roofing is slow. During the months of January and February, they collect sap from their farm in Logan County and boil it down many hours over a wood fire to remove the water. Then it is filtered and heat-packed, with nothing added, for a natural, fresh flavor.
